I have a newly laid pavement with natural stone (granite). Next to the pavement, there is a tree which drops tiny, cherry like fruits (I'm sorry, I'm not an english native speaker, so I don't know the correct name).

These fruits burst and leave ugly stains which are very hard to get rid of. Is there a solution for this, which is eco friendly and not too expensive?

Sodium bicarbonate / bicarbonate of soda is usually good at getting rid of stains. I've never used it on paving slabs but it works well on glass, pottery, plastic and some fabrics so it might be worth a try.

Put some on the stains with a little water, so that the powder fizzes, then leave to soak before rinsing off.

You can buy in small quantities from the baking section of the supermarket, or buy in bulk from many online green/ethical shops
