<p>However, it is also worth checking the 'food mileage' as some products will have travelled further than others. One example of this that I saw earlier in the year was pre-packed strawberries in a major supermarket. Despite all being packed as the same product at the same price point the shelves contained a mix of fruit from Yorkshire, Scotland and Spain. </p>
<p>Once you start thinking about this you'll soon find that it transfers to a lot of products. </p>
